Well hello hello! It's been another great week and to be honest it's all kind of blended together.. hah 

We had Zone conference this week and my sweet companion and I got to sing a cool rendition of "In Humility of our Savior" it was super fun. It was a very uplifting and inspiring zone conference.

While tracting we met this man named Steve who recently found Christ, and while he was talking about it mid-sentence left and grabbed a bunch of bananas and then comes back and legit jumps right Into his story. He offered us one.... hah so that was nice but a little wacky, then we ended up telling him all about our church and he leaves and grabs pamphlets and books from legit EVERY religion in San Jose.... he had some solid questions and is now reading about the book of mormon... ha but hopefully he gets an answer! 

Easter was great, we got to have 2 different dinners and got to be with a lot of people that we love. Missionaries, Bishop and ward members:) The sun is Shining and California is awesome!

While I was reading in Alma this week I came across a scripture that I really loved. It's Alma 48:9 where Moroni is preparing his people to protect themselves from the wicked Lamanites, and they are preparing themselves while keeping the commandments of God. The scripture says, 

"9 And in their weakest fortifications he did place the greater number of men; and thus he did fortify and strengthen the land which was possessed by the Nephites."

The reason I loved this scripture is because it's very applicable to all of us individually. All of us have weaknesses and struggles. It's inevitable and as we read in Ether 12:27 we know that God gives us weakness so we can be humble. But whatever weakness we are facing, if we put a great deal of our resources (like time, prayer and scripture study) in our weakest area we can become strengthened and fortified and protect ourselves against the enemy. In the spiritual sense we are all at war, and Satan will always attack our weakest point. So my invitation this week is find where your weak points are, and send your spiritual army there. Protect and fortify yourself while keeping the commandments of God, and we too can come off conquers like Moroni and his army. Love you.

Zone Conference:)

We met with 3 senior missionary couples,
we had 6 sisters and 3 members from the Vietnamese branch!
It was so fun, and I love these people with my whole heart!
