Hello Hello!
This week has been super wild. I was moved to San Jose to Open 2 wards for Sisters, and have a brand new companion. Her name is Sister Neiufi and she is from Tonga. She is so funny and happy and is loving the states. Haha there are so many new things and we are both learning how to explain random things from our countries in simple ways. We have seen lots of miracles and rely on the lord fully because we are both super lost. Haha it's super fun. We are loving it. So random facts about this area... both of our wards have about 500 people on record and only like 50 people come. So we have lots of work to do. We cover the San Jose state campus and get to spend a lot of time with students. I LOVE IT! Being close to a university is the best for contacting and you get to meet such cool people. I love it.
The miracle of Neil: So on Sunday we were sitting in church feeling a little overwhelmed being in brand new wards not knowing anyone when a man named Parker and his friend Neil sit behind us. We introduced ourselves after Sacrament meeting and it turns out Neil isn't a member. He tells us that he has been reading the book of mormon for a month, had been to church In Utah the past 2 weeks, and heard there were missionary lessons. He says, "I want to take them." It was the BIGGEST blessing and as he said this the words popped into my head, "I got you." And I had a super huge wave of peace rush over me. My testimony this week is that the lord knows exactly where we are. He knows how much we can handle. I know that the lord is always blessing us, we just need to choose to see it. I have a strong testimony that God truly hears our prayers. He does answer them, we just need to learn how to listen. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY. Every day I wake up so excited for my alarm to go off. Sister Neiufi have and I have no idea what we are doing... but we know we are in the lords hands.
Alma 53:27
27 Now this was the faith of these of whom I have spoken; they are young, and their minds are firm, and they do put their trust in God continually.
The importance in putting our trust in God continually even when its hard. Have the best week!❤
