HOLY COW. WHAT A WEEK

Well this week has been incredible. I honestly love the MTC so much. They keep us very busy, but I feel so productive all the time. Its great.

I honestly never thought I would say this... (the Lord works in mysterious ways)... and I AM NOW A MORNING PERSON. I love mornings. Missions work miracles! They really do(;

But some highlights of my week. We got another district of elders and sisters and THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. We got 6 new sisters and they are all so fun. Their testimonies are SO POWERFUL. We officially have more sister missionaries in the MTC then elders. THATS CRAZY!!!

Sundays are my all time favorite days. we start with meetings at like 7:15 and have meetings and devotionals straight until 9 pm. Its honestly the most spiritual thing. This Sunday was fast Sunday and let me just tell you, testimony meetings with a bunch of missionaries is so powerful. Everyone bore the most beautiful testimonies. It was so humbling. I feel so incredibly blessed with everything. Everyone has to go through such difficult trials, but seeing how they have grown from them was incredible. I feel so much love for my zone. I love this gospel so much and I cant wait to teach it to the people of California.

Teaching this week was a big learning experience but came to be one of my favorite moments here at the mtc. We had an investigator named Chelle and she is INCREDIBLE. But she gave sister skousen and I a run for our money. Every lesson we prepared was never the lesson we taught. We would go in and bag our lesson completely and rely on the spirit. Its kinda scary but oh man it works. We ended up getting really creative with how we taught, and ended up teaching through music. It worked and was cool. We also taught a lot of lessons.. but the music really helped us out. We sang a song called "peace in christ." I would reccomend looking it up, its beautiful. SIster Skousen and I would walk out of lessons feeling the spirit so much, and have no idea what we actually said because the spirit was honestly talking through us. The Holy Ghost is so important. It brings me so much comfort because I could not teach or do anything without it. I am so grateful for this gospel. I am grateful for love that my father in heaven has for me. I have been learning a lot about faith and questions this week. Faith is so powerful, and it brings so much hope. One thing I have learned is that faith is an action word.. we have to put in a lot of effort to show the Lord we are willing to do the work, then he will answer any of our prayers. I was able to attend a devotional with Sheri Dew. She is an incredible speaker. I look up to her so much. She talked a lot about questions and how they are good. If you have questions, good on ya. They build your testimony. Never think that questions are damaging or challenging your testimony. Let them come, find the answers, and you will be stronger after. I know that this is true. God wants to talk to us, but we got to ask. I love the MTC. I love being a missionary. We feel the spirit constantly and find joy in all the little things. We laugh constantly, there is honestly joy in this gospel. If you want it I can promise you, you will find it. HAVE THE BEST WEEK. I love you all so much. Thanks for all your support and emails.
