Another Example the Book of Mormon is the Word of God!

Hello Hello! Its been another wonderful week here in Morgan Hill!

CONFIRMATION TIME!

John got confirmed in church yesterday which was so exciting! He was completely glowing when he came and sat down, and received one of the coolest blessings after he received the Gift of the Holy Ghost! THIS CHURCH IS GODS CHURCH!! I think that's one of the greatest thing that sets us apart from other churches!

Did someone say WEDDING??

We got to attend a wedding..(Which was on my bucket list for my mission.) There was a couple From the Morgan Hill second ward that got married on saturday and they both got baptised on Sunday and we got to help with the wedding!! The elders cover the area.. but when they got into the wedding planning they requested some help. hah so we helped with flowers, food and decorations it was so fun! the brides family is from Rwanda and the grooms family is from Mexico.. there where quite a few communication barriers.. but it all turned out beautifully! then they got Baptised on Sunday!

Scripture of the week!

Its been a great week here in MoHill. We are finding a lot of Success and I have the best companion! One of my favorite scriptures this week is 1 Nephi 7:12, "Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all things according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise faith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him." I love this scripture for so many reasons, but if we show faith, God truly does work miracles. They are according to his timing but they do come.

Proof the Book of Mormon is true.

There was a less active lady we met with this week and she told us about an experience she had with the book or mormon and I would like to share it with you. She is a school teacher and works with children who have learning disabilities. She is currently working with a student on writing sentences and paragraphs. This week when she was trying to come up with some material to teach him, she saw the book of mormon and decided to opened it. She read the very first verse and decided to pull it apart grammatically. The first verse of the Book of Mormon is ONE SENTENCE. With 70 WORDS, Completely Grammatically correct. Written so complex that in that very moment she got her very own witness that this book is from God, because no human could write a 70 word sentence, that is that easy to read, and makes perfect sense. ITS TRUE! This book is from God and it is so powerful!! I hope you all have a wonderful week.
