Just when you think the lords left you hanging...

4th floor last door

We had the coolest experience this week. We went to teach a lesson this week to a man named James, but for some reason when we parked we parked way far down the street. So we walked to his house and he wasn't there, which was a bummer. So we were walking back to the car and I had this thought to go knock on this door right before our car. So I told my companion we needed to knock this one door, and she immediately said I am so glad you listened because I was thinking the same thing! So we knock in this door and run into the sweetest lady who is genuinely interested in hearing about how our message blesses families. After we talked for a while we headed back to our car, but we both felt like we should knock the street, so we went back to this same street, and there were 5 houses we haven't knocked, and as we knocked on each door EVERY HOUSE said we could come back. This NEVER happens! They asked questions and were so interested in our message. In about 20 minutes we found 5 new people to teach. It was unreal. The lord truly does guide this work, and he truly does prepare people to receive the gospel. :) I'm grateful the lord is patient with us, and gives us constant promptings until we listen :)

The biggest miracle of ALL!

2 weeks ago I mentioned a young man named martin who showed up at church. We met him and he said he wanted to go to church and he drives past ours every day. So we looked up the time and came. We have been teaching him 3 times a week and he is getting baptized!!! We aren't sure of the date yet. But he is the most solid person. He has the greatest questions. And understands everything we teach. He loves the book of mormon and asks so many incredible questions you can see how excited he is to finally be connecting all the missing puzzle pieces. This work is truly amazing and rings true to all those who are open to receive it. I love teaching these life changing truths!!!

It's been an awesome week! Truly seeing the lords hand in our life. He truly does guide this work. :) I finished reading in alma this week, and the lord truly protects and provides a way for the righteous. How blessed are we to know of our heavenly fathers guiding hand :) have a great week.
