When your car legit gets STOLLEN..

Well... this week has been an adventure to say the least.

My New Comp
Ha this Tuesday we had transfers and I got my new companion Sister Becker. SHE IS THE BEST. She is from the great land of Shelley Idaho, which is legit 15 minutes away from where my family just moved!! so that's cool. She is so fun and we laugh constantly.. probably because of our current situation lol, but we have so much fun.

NOW TO THE EXCITING PART.
So... after transfers on Tuesday we were in a trio for a few days until Sister Taylor got her new trainee. And she is from Idaho as well. So we called ourselves the potato people and used it out tracking and everyone loved it. But on Thursday we took her up to San Jose to the mission office and she ran into a meeting. We decided we would transfer her luggage for her and then just keep the keys there and when she came out everything would be ready for her and her new companion. a little while after we left we got a call from her and she asked us if we had moved her car.... and as you can imagine we got real stressed real quick. SO the mission tracked the car using a TIWI which is an annoying driving monitor. And someone sped out of the parking lot and a few blocks away unplugged the tiwi. so now... the sisters have our car, and we are on bikes. And the little Toyota corolla is gone. We got some bikes from some members in a pinch and we look hysterical but our sweet ward is really helping us out and making sure we are safe! SO its been a good week. Going full bike has been exciting and exhausting but we laugh constantly and make other people laugh as well, so its a win.

MIRACLES AFTER MIRACLES
Earlier this week we got to meet with the Kopacs family. We have been working with them since I got here and this week we were having a really cool lesson on the plan of salvation, and Kevin the husband had to leave. So he walks out of the house and like 30 seconds later he comes back in, leans his head around the corner and says I love your church, and I plan on coming for the rest of my life. I haven't told my wife yet but that's how i feel. Then he leaves again. WE WERE ALL SO SHOCKED. His wife was super taken back but she was fine with it... so hopefully really soon they will get to enjoy the blessings of entering the waters of baptism. But miracles happen and it was so exciting.

Miracle #2
We have been meeting with Martin a lot this week and he has been struggling with some aspects of the word of wisdom. He believes our bodies our temples and alcohol is bad, but there's just one substance he doesn't see a problem with. So we have been meeting and trying to figure out how we can overcome this. so on Sunday he comes up and says sisters I want to talk to you about my upcoming baptism and the word of wisdom. We said alright and we were kinda nervous. But we started talking and he said all the things he loves about the church and how he loves the people and the focus on Jesus Christ. THEN. he says that he is going to go COLD TURKEY and just continue to pray and try and get an answer even though he doesn't understand it. HIS FAITH IS SO STRONG. We will hopefully have his baptism in 2-3 weeks. But Jesus Christ is truly the only way to find peace and healing. The spirit was so strong in the room as he officially decided to give up everything he knows to grow closer to Christ. How grateful I am for my savior Jesus Christ and the peace and hope he brings into our lives.

Hope you all have a wonderful week. Everything is great down here in California! it still super warm and life is great. Love you!
