This Week.......Where to begin?

Well this week was the longest and shortest week of my life... ha ask me how that works and I'm going to tell you I have no idea😂 I kinda wanna give you a day by day rundown, but we all know none of us have time for that. Haha so I'll try to hit the highlights!!

First off I love my two companions SO MUCH. We laugh constantly and have the best time.

We actually went to Bethlehem 

In Santa Clara there is this Baptist church that legit recreates Bethlehem. They built the city and we walked on sand, they had camels and all sorts of animals with scary guards marching around. It was INCREDIBLE. We got to go see it and we watched the journey of Mary and Joseph as they traveled and got rejected. Then the journey ended with the birth of Christ. It was so incredible and powerful to watch. 

Missionary choir got voted #1

We got to perform for the community Christmas concert and it was awesome!! The whole community gathered in our church building and all of the different religions got to preform their favorite christmas songs. We got to sing 3 songs and we had the whole chapel in tears. It was so powerful and the spirit was definitely there! I loved it, and it is probably a Highlight of my mission

Christmas tree

I am leaving Morgan Hill in about a week, which means I am taking the cute Christmas tree my sweet mom made with me, so the members let us borrow a little artificial tree for the sisters when I leave! so we got to decorate it... and we like it a lot!!! It turned out pretty well!!! :)

Farewell parties 

Everyone in this area is so dang kind and loving we have been having lots of Farwell (or members like to call them promotion dinners haha) And it has been so fun. We have been celebrating the holidays, light the world, and all the wonderful people in this area. I am going to be so sad to leave.  

Final Thoughts

This week has been awesome and crazy busy!!! This upcoming week looks the same. I am super grateful for the opportunity to be on a mission and to learn the many lessons missions bring. I know that the book of mormon truly is the word of God, and that Jesus Christ is truly our Savior. He gave absolutely everything up for us. He even gave his own life, so what can we give to him to celebrate his birth? I am so grateful for my Savior he truly is the Prince of peace. Merry Christmas.
