HOLY COW ITS DECMEBER!!!!!! Well this week has been aweome! So many great things gave happened.
We got a new Sister, Sister Sim from Korea. She is the sweetest human I have ever met. We are in a trio which means there are 3 of us and it is so fun!!!! Sister Sim has been speaking English for 3 months and is already a pro. I never realized all the weird terms Americans use until we started serving with Sister Sim. Haha we will say random phrases, and she just looks at us with blank stares haha. But we laugh a lot and we are having so much fun!
HIGHLIGHT
Well on December first, Elder Stevenson came TO OUR MISSION!! It was incredible. Our entire mission gathered at the mission office and we had Elder Stevenson, Bishop Waddell, Elder Whiting and Elder Pimentel. They all walked in and shook all of our hands. It was incredible. They talked a lot about the Book of Mormon and the incredible power that it has. One thing they pointed out was in the second to last and last paragraph in the introduction of the Book of Mormon. We read it multiple times and had to pick out the most important word. What word do you think it is??? It is the word "will." It says you WILL gain a testimony of the book of mormon if you read it, you WILL get a testimony of Jesus Christ and the prophet Joseph Smith. The only thing you have to do is just read the book and you can know these things for yourself. The introduction is so incredibly important and so powerful, but it's over looked. I gained a new love for the introduction of the book of mormon. Also Elder Stevenson from the quorum of the 12 apostles blessed all of our families through us with an apostolic blessing which was INCREDIBLY powerful. Then he bore a sure and special witness of the savior. It was amazing and the spirit was so strong it was tangible. How amazing to be in a room with one of our Saviors 12 apostles.❤ We then sang our mission song for all of the brethren, it's a song called "Testimony" I don't think there was a dry eye in the place it was so powerful. I love being a missionary.
Mother Nature
We are finally getting rain!!! Yay!!! But it has been down pouring and floods and bikes have been super exciting. We have gotten real creative with how to stay dry. Ha we wear like 2XL rain ponchos and all the rain gear its hysterical and so fun!!:)
Transfers
I found out last week I am being transferred mid transfer because some missionaries are going home for Christmas! So December 19th I will be leaving the wonderful land of Morgan Hill (after serving 7 months here) and I will be going to south San Jose! I'm super excited and hear the wards amazing.
