Holy cow what a week!!!! Haha so many funny and crazy things happened..  so let's start with some of the funny stories haha

FUNNIES
Story 1: So on Christmas eve we were eating dinner with the Barns family.. and their little son who's like 3 was shoving dired blue berries up his nose, haha so sister Folkman got most of them out, then mentioned it to his parents. Long story short... he shoved so many up his nose they where way up his nostrils... hah so most of our Christmas Eve dinner was filled with calls to the neighboring doctors, flashlight holding, and tweezers. Haha let's just say Sister Folkman and I are practicing to be ENT doctors (; but we did get them all out, and he didn't have to go to the ER.. blessed!

Story 2: we were tracting and we knock on this ladies door, and we started to tell her who we were and why we were there... ha and she says, "Hold on one sec, and leaves" and the door opened farther as she leaves and we see her whole family playing games in the living room... and they all just silently looked at us, so we waved and they said NOTHING. that was awkward.. hah then the lady comes back and hands us a bouquet of flowers and says, "I am not interested in your message, but you girls are amazing. Keep spreading the good word." And shuts the door... haha if that isn't the nicest way to be denied I don't know what is. Hah so thanks random lady for letting us down easy with some flowers!

Story 3: Two blonds... and a mom van. What could go wrong??? Haha yesterday Sister Folkman was backing up the van... and I was behind her making sure she didn't hit anything... haha there were some serious miscommunications, and she nailed another car. Haha lucky she was going way slow and hit like a side hitch thing... so we added a scar to the mom van, haha but the other car was untouched. Thank goodness it was a big truck.  but we were fasting yesterday... and I think it's a blessing from fasting that there was no damage. Heavenly father was looking out for his hungry sister missionaries!

Story 4: finely tuned Robots... so yesterday we were teaching a lesson with a man named Edward.. and pretty sure he was on drugs. He kept stopping us and comparing our lives to the movie inception, and how he wasn't really alive and in the flesh, but this whole life is an alternate reality. It was hard to keep a strait face with some of the things he said. But he asked Sister Folkman and I what program we used? And we were confused so we asked what he meant... and he went on to tell us that he knows we are robots, and we are finely tuned robots with no glitches. He said and our programmer did a great job at disguising us, and no one else could tell we were robots. But because he's like the guy off limitless he could tell. Ha yep Edward, you caught us.... we are finely tuned robots. We even tried to take the approach that God was our programer...  to bring the lesson back but it didn't work.  Hah

We have also gotten food poisoning twice this week... ha so you could say its been a very eventful week. 😂

This week has been so awesome. So many other funny things happened, but I don't have time to write them all. Christmas was amazing, and talking to my sweet family was the happiest moment!! I am so grateful to be a missionary. I love being apart of the Lords work. It truly brings more peace and joy than anything!!! We have been talking a lot about spiritual goals for this upcoming year. Where do you spiritually want to be at the end of 2019?? I hope you have a wonderful week, and a happy new year. LOVE YOU!!!!!!
