Ahhh Hello!!! Man I just love being a missionary. We got to meet some of the coolest people this week!! Also its finally getting warm, so this weeks been a win! Highlights of this week

No such thing as a coincidence
So yesterday we were walking through a parking lot, and we saw this lady loading a bunch of stuff into her car, so we asked her if we could help and she was the kindest lady I have ever met. She is from Illinois and was so willing to talk to us. After we chatted for a while she realized we were missionaries for our church and about five years ago she met with missionaries down in Morgan hill. But we talked with her and she needed some help in her life and she was telling us how all over her clothes are so worn and torn, she doesn't have anything to really wear. And THE COOL PART is that we had a huge bag of clothes we were going to donate from a service project we did. So we told her about it, and she came and got to pick out some warm clothes for herself. What a miracle, God always provides. Then we had a little lesson and prayer in this parking lot by our van, she was so grateful she just cried. She is the coolest person ever, and we cant wait to meet with her this week.

The magical clothes bag part 2
So this magical bag of donated clothes has SAVED us this week. We got them by doing service for a less active family, and by serving them they FINALLY CAME TO CHURCH!!! We go and visit then twice a week, and they finally came. Also we were meeting with this super cool less active guy in our ward, and when we started visiting him his life was super sad, and he was super depressed. But we started with the basics of praying and scripture study and this week was a break through week. We were in a lesson and he asks us who told us to go visit him.... and we told him we just felt like we should. Then he bursts into tears and said "my mom must have sent you." Then he starts telling us how his entire family has passed away, and how lonely he has felt. So we invited him to pray. He hadn't prayed in years but he said he would try it. So we got a call the next morning and he couldn't wait to tell us that he had prayed and he felt something. He was on cloud 9 telling us that for the first time he felt like someone was listening. So when we went back a few days later he was telling us how much his life had changed since he prayed, and how he is trying to read the scriptures but he has a hard time focusing. So we invited him to pray for help understanding them. When we went back the next day he started telling us how much his prayer worked!! That he prayed and asked for help and he understood EVERYWORD. And how it applied to his life. Then he told he felt like he had read for like 20 minutes but when he looked up it had been 4 hours. 4 HOURS!! He cried the entire time he was telling us how grateful he is for the spirit, and that that the spirit touches his heart, even though he doesn't feel worthy of it. He is amazing and we probably have the most spiritual lessons at his house I have ever had on my mission. It's incredible.

Zone conference
We had zone conference this week, and it was the best zone conference I have ever been to! We focused completely on the savior and his last 36 hours. The message of his ministry was shared through videos, stories, and music. It was so moving to see every single missionary shed the most humble and grateful tears as they testified who Jesus Christ is to them. Honestly, I feel so incredibly grateful. I'm serving my mission because I love him. He has given us the greatest gift, and that's the atonement of Jesus Christ. I would like to invite you to join me, and the Christian world in turning yourself closer to Christ these next 40 days before Easter. Have a wonderful week. ❤
