Ahhh hello!

Can you believe its been another week??  I sure can't. Man time moves so fast.

But anyways this week has been awesome. One of my favorite things about being a missionary is having a thought pop in our head... following it... and seeing the immediate effect. Now I love acting on all thoughts that pop into my head, but it's cool when you see the immediate affect. This week we had a feeling to go and visit a less active member in our ward. So we did and we were like locked out of his front gate. And we tried to get in, but the gate was smarter then we were (unfortunately). But he came out and opened it for us! And anyways we shared a video called "reclaimed" (If you haven't seen it I would highly recommend it.) And as we showed him this video he opened up and told us about current struggles he had, and we ended up having the most spiritual lessons of my mission while we were standing on his porch. We testified as boldly and purely about Jesus Christ and his love for us, that the atonement truly covers EVERYTHING. As we testified of the Savior the spirit seriously just pierced all of our hearts testifying of the truth! It was amazing to see how 20 minutes just focusing on the Savior changed his entire countenance. He truly is that powerful. When I left on my mission I got set apart to be a missionary and a representative of Christ, and while I was getting set apart I was told that all homesickness would be swallowed up in Christ. Now being on a mission and away from my sweet family I have seen how powerful and true that promise was. And I want to promise you as a full time missionary for our Savior that any struggles you might be having, trials or doubts you are facing, they can be swallowed up in the joy of Christ. I have seen it in my life, and so many peoples life throughout my mission. The moment we turn our hearts to Christ and choose to truly know him everything in life becomes better. Hardships and trials might not disappear, but they will be made light through Christ. Mosiah 24 is an incredible chapter that talks about this principle. God is with us every step of the way. ❤

Another highlight of this week, I got a call from the missionaries in my last area, Morgan Hill. And they said that a lady we had been teaching is getting baptized!! YAY! So on Saturday we got to go down and witness her baptism and sing and speak it was so powerful and so happy. She looked like a completely different person. Man my heart is filled with so much joy. This is such a miracle! I also got to introduce my sweet companion to some of my favorite families in my last area. Saturday was the best day.:)

But its been an awesome week, we are so crazy busy and I love it. My companion is honestly amazing and she is such an example to me. Sister Patterson is a light and has the biggest heart ever. I feel so blessed to be her companion. Have the most wonderful week. Know that I love you, and I love my Savior. He truly is the only way to find lasting peace and happiness. Have a wonderful week.
