Animal Catchers for God

So we had the coolest experience ever.. Sister Patterson is super Allergic to Dogs (which is sad) and we were visiting Bette and her dogs would not leave Sister Patterson alone... like at all. Unfortunately her throat started to close off.. so we quickly ran home filled her with Benadryl, she took a shower and changed her clothes and all was well. But the story is just getting good... Haha so we are walking to one of our recent converts house to take them to an activity and we see this lady named Jane looking for a dog. She asked us if we had seen it.. we told her no, but we would be in the area the rest of the night. So she gave us the number of the owner and the dogs name.. which was Chaquita. Then the lady went on to tell us she was a member but hasn't come to church in ages. So we invited her to come for Easter Sunday and she turned us down real quick. But she was kind and we went on our way. But our appointment with our recent converts fell through so we were driving to our bishops house for a youth activity and we see this dang little chihuahua running down the street! So I told Sister Patterson to jump out and grab the dog then realized she cant touch the little thing.. ha so we like drifted the mom van into a slender little parking spot and started chasing this little ratty dog down the street yelling "CHAQUITA, CHAQUITA" then we turn the corner and see 2 members from our ward, and a stranger.. and it took all 5 of us to catch this little 3 pound dog. And during the process then dang thing bit my hand then peed on it. I think it was a little uncalled for but that's alright. So anyways we get this dog and find Jane who had been looking for it, and she just cried because she was so happy. Then she went on to tell us how she prayed for angels to protect that little dog, and that we were the angles that God sent. It was super sweet then we talked about how much God answers our prayers. But the best part is she asked us what she could do for us to pay us back... and we told her the only thing we needed was for her to come to church. She said she would. I never would have thought I would be grateful for a viscous little chihuahua... but this week.. I am!

God answers prayers! Often times in mysterious ways! Happy Easter. I am so grateful for this amazing week and that we get to celebrate that Christ lives. I love him with my whole heart. ❤
