Hello hello!! Ao sorry it's been AGES since I've written an actual email hahah. I'm trying to do better! So this week.. wow where to start. We got transfer calls this week and Sister Sister Solofa and I are both leaving to whitewash new areas. CRAZY. Sister Solofa is headed to a Samoan ward in Los Altos and will be serving with her cousin. I am going to be opening an area in San Jose, and my companion is coming from the MTC. So send a few extra prayers if you can... Haha we need some extra support this week. Sister Taylor is going to be whitewashing our area with a brand new companion as well. Our whole mission basically got switched around this transfer. Exciting things!!:)
Well let's get to some miracles..
I was on exchanges this week in the Spanish area, I was with sister Mardy, and we had the BEST day. We had a lesson with a man named Mario. He has a lot of questions and always has doubts, so we started with a prayer and prayed specifically that he would feel peace, find answers to his questions and the spirit would be present. The prayer worked miracles, and the spirit was so strong. Sister Mardy and I were truly being led by the spirit and all of the dots connected with his testimony. It was so powerful!! By the time we were leaving he was so excited about all the new things he had learn he was almost shouting and could hardly stay sitting. He was glowing and was so excited to go home and read. He said he hasn't been able to put his scriptures down because he loves them so much. The scriptures are his first priority. Scripture power. Man that's real!
We have been running this week from apartment to apartment! We have lessons starting at 9:30am-9:30pm with appointments every 30-60 minutes. ITS BEEN SO FUN!! Sister Solofa and I get along so well and are constantly laughing.
This past week we were knocking on this super old door with a super old porch and she was kind of nervous to walk on the porch... hahaha so when we get up to the door, she goes to knock, but I dropped myself to the ground and threw my hands in the air and yelled. Hahahahaha she thought I fell through the porch and she jumped to the side of the porch, clinging to the side of the wall while she was screaming. Hahahaha it was SO FUNNY. I got her SO GOOD. But good news no one was home.. which was good because I was laughing so hard. Anyways, theres a glimpse of what our days look like. Lots of really powerful experiences, and lots of laughs!!
Goodbyes with our wards were hard, we love the people here so much. We have created some of the strongest bonds. I truly love the Palo Alto and Stanford area. I feel blessed to be a missionary. Keep it real, keep it fun. Love Y'all ❤❤
