Hello Hello! Its been another great and fast week here in San Jose. Heres a quick summary of the past week:

1. We are still teaching the Chinese couple that's interning here from Provo, they are the absolute sweetest. Nan who is the non-member always listens so intently and is always the first person to volunteer to pray in all our lessons. She asks all the questions and prays that God will help her heart to be open so she can find answers. They are moving back to Utah in about 2 weeks, but luckily I will get to see them shortly after my mission and continue to help her progress towards baptism. We are so blessed.

2. This week we had zone conference and got training on how to use the giving machines coming to San Jose!! As missionaries we get to staff the machines from from 9am-9pm every day except Sunday's. I am super excited. We only get to work one shift this week, however, we have the ribbon cutting with the mayor tomorrow night. WE ARE SO PUMPED. You will get pictures next week.

3. Teaching miracle! So last night we were in a lesson that we have been really preparing for with a man named Austin. However, our lessons never quite go how we plan. So we were teaching the plan of salvation and he was really having a hard time, so we asked him what he was thinking about and he told us that he didn't understand or like how we used the word "know." He felt like we were just throwing it around. Our member present did an awesome job of talking about how we can come to know spiritual truths and how God will give us answers when we are humble enough to receive them. Then we all proceeded to powerfully tell him every single thing we knew to be true. He mentioned how he struggled to even know if God was real, but when we told him that we knew without a shadow of a doubt that God knows him, and is aware of him the spirit in the room completely changed. We testified boldly of the doctrine of the church and the spirit testified powerfully to every single person that those principles are true. I know that there is power when we boldly stand up for the spiritual witnesses we have received. We are born to TESTIFY!!

4. On Saturday this week we spent the entire day tracting, which was super fun!! We went to drop by one of our friends we had met the previous week and when we stoped by he was there with his girlfriend!! So we started to chat with them and began to talk about the basics of the church, and we had the most amazing lesson. They kept asking questions like, "Whats our purpose here?" "Does God answer my prayers?" "Does Christ know me personally?" It was unreal, my sweet companions and I kept looking at each-other like it was an episode of the district or something. We get to go back and teach them this week and we are really excited!!

5. Alexandra got to go to the temple to do her recent convert baptisms and it was the BEST!!!!She was so happy!!!! We were so happy! We feel so blessed we are seeing many miracles!!!!

6. Random funnies about our multicultural companionship...
-Having a foreign companion give directions to every location in downtown San Jose is a real companion relation and communication builder. haha they say directions in their native languages and then look at me like an idiot when I miss the turn.. hahah we laugh constantly and are rarely on time...whoops ha
- We got Tongan food and Brazilian food this week and our apartment smells like a world market!
- My companions have beautiful voices! We got to preform multiple times this week, we are constantly singing to everyone!

I am so excited for this week and for Thanksgiving. WE ARE SO BLESSED. While thinking of examples of being grateful from the scriptures my mind goes to Ether 6. That is a true example of being grateful in the midst of adversity. Have an absolutely wonderful week. LOVE YOU!!!
