Holy cow. My dearest friends and family we have made it. It hurts my heart to say that this will be my last email as a missionary. Unfortunately my 18 months in San Jose have rapidly come to an end but I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have had to be a missionary. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY. I feel so unbelievably blessed to be a representative of Jesus Christ. I have learned A LOT of lessons over the past 18 months, and I am excited to continue to learn. Before I get all sentimental and stuff we had some super fun things happen this week. One of my favorite moments happened while we were tracting.

So we knock on this ladies door and she answers and we introduce ourselves and tell her about our message and ask if she has ever felt Gods love for her. She responded with, "I did acid once and I saw it all." So I immediately responded and asked her if she thought she could connect with God without drugs. Sister Esteves looked at me and had the most horrified look on her face and was like dumbstruck... so I kept talking to this lady and we talked about building a connection with without drugs and it went well. Then we go to leave and she closes the door and with a lot of emotion Sister Esteves turns to me and says, "Are you crazy? Why in the world would you ask her if she did drugs to find answers??" I was super confused and Sister Esteves repeated what the lady said.. Haha and she heard " Yeah I did ask God once and I saw everything." Hahaha so we laughed so hard. Turns out Acid and Asked legit sound the same with an American accent. Anyways just another day in the life of our multicultural companionship. Haha

We had the giving machines multiple times this week and it was so fun!! We have made the best of friends with all the workers and they just walk by constantly it's so fun! They even  let us sit on their little motor cart thing.. Haha it was great!

It's been pouring rain this week.. and we have had quite a few hard goodbyes but over all I feel extremely blessed.

In our last lesson with Nan and Alex we taught them about temples and eternal families. It was so powerful to testify about how much our Heavenly Father loves us, and wants us to he with our families forever. They talked about how badly they want to be sealed in the temple and our hearts were so full of gratitude as we boldly testified of God's eternal plan.

I think that's the thing I love most as a missionary is being able to testify so frequently and be able to have an incredibly strong confirmation that what I am saying is pleasing to God. I love having a front row seat at the miracles in the lives of those here in San Jose. I have loved serving a mission and have been reflecting on all the experiences I've had while I've been here, and I am absolutely amazed in this amazing plan our heavenly father has set for us. I'm grateful that he loves me enough to watch me struggle and grow. I'm grateful for all the kind people he's placed in my path. I am also grateful for the unkind people who have been placed in my path. I have the strongest testimony that God makes all things work together for our good. No matter where we are in life if we are 5 or 105 we are going to face trials, and must rely on the Lord. When we do, we come out conquers on the other side.

Roman's 8:28

28. All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

Let us all continue to come towards our Heavenly Father and strive to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ. I have an incredibly strong belief that Jesus is the Christ. I know that he is involved in all of our lives. Sometimes when he might seem distant take confidence in knowing that the teacher is always silent during the test, but they are always there. I am so grateful to be a missionary. I am so grateful for the love and continued support I have received. Thank you. So much. I love you and I will see you on the flip side.❤
